PIXTA Inc., a leading operator of Japanese online marketplace for stock images and videos, is pleased to announce that it sponsored the Mediacorp Young Lions Competition 2018 held on March 17th - 18th in Singapore again.
Mediacorp Young Lions Competition is held to select the best teams to represent Singapore at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the largest worldwide gathering of marketing and advertising professionals.
On the Result Night held on April 18th, a winning team from digital category used 9 PIXTA images and won a fully-sponsored trip to represent Singapore at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, which is comparable to attending an ‘Oscars’ in the advertising world.
Cannes Lions hosts the Young Lions Competition annually for young creative professionals under 30 years old to prove their skills and talents at the global level. Mediacorp is the official Cannes Lions Representative for Singapore and has organised the Mediacorp Young Lions Competition to select the best teams to represent the country in the prestigious Cannes Young Lions Competition.
The number of participating teams for the Mediacorp Young Lions Competition 2018 was 85, with a total of 170 participants.

PIXTA sponsored Mediacorp Young Lions Competition 2018 followed by 2016 and 2017 to support raising talented young creators in Asia.
PIXTA as the Official Contents Sponsor, offered the contest participants access to its photos, illustrations and videos for the competition and free 20 images to be used to the winning and runner up teams as a prize.
This year’s theme was Food Waste in Singapore. A winning team from digital category used 9 PIXTA images in their work. Some of them are exclusively submitted by our Asian creators.
